{"id":3742,"date":"2025-11-02T13:59:07","date_gmt":"2025-11-02T13:59:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/supercarsblondie.com\/?p=194"},"modified":"2025-11-02T13:59:07","modified_gmt":"2025-11-02T13:59:07","slug":"shaquille-oneal-dropped-1-3m-on-three-rolls-royces-because-the-salesman-called-him-broke","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/nerdwallett.xyz\/?p=3742","title":{"rendered":"Shaquille O&#8217;Neal dropped $1.3M on three Rolls-Royces because the salesman called him broke"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">NBA legend Shaquille O\u2019Neal once spent $1.3 million to buy three Rolls-Royces just to prove a point.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He walked into a dealership and the salesman apparently dismissed him because he thought Shaq was just going to waste his time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For whatever reason, the salesman didn\u2019t know who he was and thought he couldn\u2019t afford the cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Well, he knows now.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Why Shaquille O\u2019Neal spent $1.3 million just to prove a point<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Shaq shared the story during an episode of the <em>Drink Champs<\/em> podcast on the Revolt YouTube channel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He recounted how the salesman, an old man according to Shaq, had annoyed him by assuming he couldn\u2019t afford the cars.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI\u2019m [in the showroom and] I\u2019m like, \u2018Hey man how much is this? How much is that?, and so finally the old guy says, \u2018Yo man, you asked about all these cars, can you afford them?\u2019 he said to me,\u201d Shaq explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cSo I buy three Rolls-Royces. That one, that one, and that one, and I want them dropped off.
